It has been said that Samael Aun Weor was born in Colombia on March 6, 1917 during the First World War.
His father was of great stature, of African descent, with very wide hands and a robust complexion. His mother was of Arab descent, and dressed in an old fashion, always with a hat over her head reminiscent of the nineteen century - very ladylike.
colombiaYet, regarding the date of his birth there is a mystery. Later in his life, while walking through the stone-paved streets of a town in South America, he met a lady who was initiated in the Egyptian Mysteries. After their introduction, she question him: "What was the date of your birth?"
Samael Aun Weor answered, "They told me that I was born the sixth of March, 1917."
Then the lady told him, "You are mistaken, because in 1919 you visited me in Los Angeles, California, in order to collect on a debt that I had with you..."
Thereafter, when she bid him farewell, she added, "This is only one part of the mystery that surrounds you."
